All the recipient has to do is add water or broth and it is ready to serve.

2016 Report

New to meeting the "Food for Relief in the Name of Christ" challenge is "Manna for Many-An Anabaptist Mission."


The following is a summary of our very first soup bagging production held during Relief Canning 2016

The following is a summary of the soup bags prepared from Oct. 2015-Oct. 2016:

52,240 bags x 5 meals = 261,000 meals with distribution through:

  • Christian Aid Ministries (CAM)
  • Mountain vision
  • Local Families, Food Pantries, Community Meals & Churches

The following is a summary of the boneless turkey produced during Relief Canning 2016:

20,024 Total Units/Cans produced

  • 2,002 units/cans will be distributed to Local Families, Food Pantries, Community Meals & Churches
  • 18,022 shipped to Mennonite Central Committee in Ephrata, PA for distribution to global areas of disasters, conflicts of War/Refugee and Hunger


We want to share this additional food production activity with you where by a mobile unit can be scheduled for your youth/young/older adults to bag soup at your church or community event.  We will bag soup throughout the year when scheduled. To schedule a date, contact Andrew at 330.857.0341
